Tu B’Shevat, otherwise known as the original Earth Day, is coming up soon in early February—let’s make it unforgettable.
Jewish National Fund-USA provides special opportunities to enhance the way we celebrate Tu B’Shevat and connect to the land and people of Israel. Contributing embodies our dedication to Israel’s environment.
JNF-USA has planted over 265 million trees in Israel. While this is an impressive achievement, there is always a need for more, due to natural forest regrowth, forest fires, and arson. We encourage CAJ members to help continue to build up Israel by planting one or more trees. For every tree planted, our congregation is one step closer to reaching our goal of $1000, and we’ll automatically be entered into JNF-USA’s Israel Sweepstakes to win a free-round trip ticket to Israel and a spot on a JNF-USA volunteer mission.
Fundraisers for trees are a tradition on Tu B’Shevat and now, more than ever, it’s a great way for us to show our commitment to a strong and healthy Israel.
