We are deeply saddened to inform you of the death of Dr. Bernard Jortner on September 28, 2024. CAJ extends its condolences to the entire Jortner family. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, October 1st, at 10 am at the Temple Rodef Sholom Cemetery. May Bernie’s memory be for a blessing.

The Yehudi Men’s Night Out group is having its next get-together this coming Sunday, September 29th, at 3 pm at Poppa Rollo’s on Valley Mills Drive. All Jewish men in Waco are welcome: members of the Shul, members of the Temple, and any unaffiliated Jews. Everyone is welcome! Please join us for pizza and schmoozing!
